With the start of every baseball season The United Countries of Baseball map by Nike always seems to pop up on the Internets. I’ve always found this map to be fascinating, so fascinating in fact that I cannot look away. Love that baseball is back, one more sleep.

I first met Satur Ocampo, Pepe Luneta and a lot of the heavyweights of the Communist Party at Camp Bagong Diwa jail in Bicutan in the early 80s. My mom and stepfather were political detainees then because of their involvement with the Light-a-fire movement that went against Marcos’ dictatorship.
On my way down after the school fair, I stopped to take a shot of Metro Manila. :)
